It’s very important to photograph children in a way their parents know them. All it takes to change a child’s appearance is a slight look of confusion or distrust, and the opportunity is blown.

Above are two images that took different approaches to capture. Heavy knows when to deal directly with the child, as in the picture on the left, and when to get parents in the game, as in the image on the right. This effort made all the difference in the world when capturing each child, to capture them when their personalities shine in a way their parents know and love.

I make it a point to capture children as they play, and I never forget that my time is actually their time, and on their terms.

Pricing starts at $200 for up to 2 hours, and I can be had for longer periods, which includes my patience through naps, changes, feedings, even multiple locations. If your child naps as well, I’m fine with that. You live your life, and let me adapt accordingly. A full day starts at $400 and will include enough imagery to wallpaper your home.
